Uponor Wipex Jointing Equal PN6 40x3,7 - 40x3,7

The Wipex Jointing is specifically designed for connecting crosslinked polyethylene pipes, produced by Uponor, for hot and cold water in domestic and district heating installations. The jointing is available for pipe dimensions 25-110 mm, in two series marked PN 6 for Thermo pipes and PN 10 for aqua pipes.

The Wipex Jointing is designed to give an excellent tight grip. The gripping strength is higher than the tensile strength of the pipe, and the sealing performance is unaffected by temperature fluctuations.

Wipex Jointings are robust and simple in design, can be fitted very easily and quickly even in difficult locations and confined spaces. The ring spanners used when fitting the jointing are very small and convenient to use in relation to the size of the jointing.

The Wipex Jointing is patented, tested according to DVGW (Germany), NKB (Sweden), CSTB (France), KIWa (Holland) and approved.
The main components of the fittings are made of DR brass (resistant to dezincification).
O-rings are used to make a seal between the Jointing and pipe fittings.
Additional sealing using Teflon or hemp is not required when used with Wipex products.
The Wipex fitting system allows for an extremely wide range of connection combinations.
Only tools needed are two fixed wrenches plus a pair of pliers.

The Wipex Jointing is suitable for Uponor pipe systems Thermo Single, Thermo Twin, Thermo Mini and Quattro.
